The Elements of an Elephant is a design from local artist Ryan Patrick Morley of Bird&Bee who worked with the Design & Visual Arts students of The Sheffield College to produce an organic, natural response to the project. but that's not a resolution, that's just a way of life. I know the D750 has buttons which will never be pushed and can do things that I shall never make it do, but I want to be able to do what I want to do, and to do it to the camera's best possible ability.

So here it is, a book that has taught me more in a couple of hours about the D750 than the manual and another book have taught me in days. whereas others, also quite famous, can have me cussing and wondering why I ever embarked on the project. This is like having a recipe book which speaks my language and there are a few cooks - Lindsey Bareham, Annie Bell, Nigel Slater to name but a few whom I enjoy spending an hour or two with in my kitchen. Also this year has surprises up its sleeve, I just know it!Īs for photography, I now have a book on how to use the D750 which speaks my language, it arrived in the post the day before yesterday. I still have a lot of enthusiasm for making another home and this is the time to do it.

Hopefully, we shall sell our house and move - both Peter and I are sure that this is the right time to leave and make a new home which will be easier for us as our retirement progresses. No resolutions, as usual, but I'm holding out much hope for this year. This image is not available for use on websites, blogs or other media without explicit written permission
